Husband of conjoined twin reveals what initially attracted him to her
The two met on Hinge in 2020
The husband of conjoined twin Carmen, Daniel McCormack, has revealed what initially attracted him to her when they met in 2020.
Carmen Andrade and her sister Lupita are conjoined twins, however only Carmen is legally married to Daniel, with Lupita viewing him as “a brother.”
The pair met on Hinge back in 2020 and ended up eloping in an intimate ceremony last year.
As what initially drew Daniel to Carmen, he told People: “Just being a genuine person, having a funny personality. And I mean, look at her, she’s adorable. I love my wife. We definitely shared that deep connection of loving animals.”
Daniel also stood out to Carmen after he “asked about their dog” with Lupita adding that the pair “talked for hours” during their first date.
Carmen added: “I knew right off the bat that Daniel was different from the others, because he didn’t lead with a question about my condition.”
She also explained that one of the biggest misconceptions is that their relationship isn’t strong and that Daniel must be looking at other women.
She explained that some people insist he must be “cheating on me on the side”, or is just “here for the bag.” She laughed, adding that she had “no money.”
Daniel also explained that he’s tired of people asking them about intimacy, stating: “People are obsessed with sex. And it is just like, frankly, it’s none of your f*cking business.”
