Love Is Blind couple share huge plans as they open up about stark reality of filming a wedding
'We were limited to 20 people each'
Love Is Blind UK’s Kieran and Megan have shared huge plans for their future after revealing the stark reality of filming a wedding for Netflix. While they described the production team as doing a “great job,” the couple is now planning a major vow renewal.
Firstly, they revealed on the We Need To Talk podcast how they were only allowed 20 people each at their wedding, which involved people having to fly out to Aberdeen to then go to work the following morning, and having to pay for the travel expenses themselves.
Kieran and Megan spoke about how they had an agreement to both go through it, but admit that if one of them wasn’t 100 percent up for getting married, that they’d both leave together. And even in the weeks leading up to the altar, they had to pick the decor and dresses.
They’ve now shared huge plans for what they’re calling a “love party,” and that involves having a huge celebration for a vow renewal, in which they can invite everyone they want to. Kieran said, “We’re going to renew our vows and do a bigger one in April.”
“It’s going to be really fun, we’re calling it a love party. But if we were to do it again, that’s the amount of people we would have. It was so nice to have it quite intimate. We weren’t going around speaking to people we haven’t spoken to in years,” Kieran revealed.
He added: “It was all of our closest people,” while Megan said that “Netflix absolutely smashed it.” Kieran even admitted he was an “emotional wreck” on their wedding day and how they felt “so happy,” especially once the nerve-wracking altar part was over.
They’re also planning on doing a whole load of travelling. Kieran said: “We’re looking at doing a trip to Japan and Australia over Christmas time and then will definitely get out to the US soon, would love to go and see Daniel and Taylor from LIB US out there!”
