Ok, so the official Love Island Games season two cast just dropped, and now we’re actually filled with fear. As bubbly, spicy, and super smizey Islanders all introduced themselves in the Peacock show’s promo this September, there was one segment we literally winced at. Tyrique Hyde is coming in hot for season two, and the other people in the villa are seriously going to have to watch out. Let’s hope these guys are thick-skinned because the savagery is coming.
Love Island Games season two drops its line-up
Whew. Hold onto your hats, ladies and gents, because the official Love Island Games season two cast has been announced, and Tyrique’s on his way to the villa. The Love Island UK season 10 alum is making a return and, erm, we’re genuinely scared. Since the announcement, people have been sharing all kinds of memes and posts to social media to show that this is actually a collective fear.
Tyrique had a good run on Love Island the first time around. He entered the villa on day one and came in third place alongside Ella Thomas on day 58. The semi-pro footballer, who hails from Essex, has a seriously blunt delivery. At this point, ‘telling it how it is’ is an understatement. He said during his promo moment: “If I find a girl that I like, and she’s sh** at challenges, I’m gonna weigh up how much I like her. Feelings change, money never changes.”

People are actually warning “US viewers who haven’t seen UK Love Island before,” following Tyrique being in the season two Games cast. One person tweeted: “For all you new US fans, leave your sensitivity at the door because if you thought any man at all on season seven was bad, you’re in for a very rude awakening with Tyrique.”
Another said in response to his intro video: “LMFAOOO Tyrique is starting already.” More also commented on the other Islanders who are headed for the villa: “Kendall, Chris, and Tyrique in the same f’n villa!? This is really about to be a mess.” More took to X to say: “Tyrique on love island games…y’all about to see REAL EVIL on that island,” and “Oh, he hasn’t changed a bit! TYRIQUE IS BACK TO SAVE THE LOVE ISLAND FRANCHISE.”
It looks like everyone’s gearing up for the messy entertainment to kick off, and more are saying Love Island USA season seven’s Ace Greene was literally no villain compared to Tyrique. One person tweeted: “These new Love Island USA fans aren’t ready for Tyrique. They could barely handle Ace ‘running the villa’. Meanwhile, Tyrique is on a whole other level.”
