It’s coming out next week, so here’s everything you need to know about Love Island Games
It's time to get ready for the ultimate showdown
Get ready, Islanders! The villa is about to heat up all over again. Love Island Games is back next week, and this time, the drama isn’t just about coupling up. With familiar faces from across the globe, new twists, and challenges that push more than just romance, it’s shaping up to be the ultimate showdown of love, strategy, and survival. Whether you’re here for the messy recouplings, the flirty one-liners, or the inevitable heartbreak, here’s everything you need to know before the first bombshell walks in on September 16.
Season two has a scary new format
Throwing it back to season one of Love Island Games, and the show was all pre-recorded. Viewers had absolutely zero influence over which couples and cast members ended up getting the boot. This meant that it was all up to how they performed in the challenges and were often left to the mercy of their co-stars.
However, season two of Games is completely flipping this format and not only will the show not be pre-recorded, but viewers will be able to vote for which cast members get to stay versus who will get eliminated. But a lot of people are fuming over this drastic change, as some cast members are already hugely more popular than others, meaning they could be unfairly favoured during voting.
Love Island Games’ rumoured cast is full of icons
If the whispers are true, Love Island Games is serving up a seriously star-studded lineup for season two. The rumoured cast spans the globe, including standout names like Cashay, Kassy, Nicole, Belle-A, Andreina, Calvin, Isaiah, Kendall, and Chris from Love Island USA; UK faces such as Kaz, Alima, Faye, Zach, Tyrique, Ben, and Casey; as well as Australia’s Mimi and more. That international blend of fan-faves promises fireworks, expect fierce rivalries, alliances, and unforgettable chaos!
The OG host actually quit before season two
More changes are coming our way when Love Island Games arrives on Peacock this September. The show’s iconic host, Maya Jama, has actually been replaced by someone new. It was announced she’d be stepping down this summer.
Maya’s being replaced by none other than Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix as the host. Ariana is hugely loved by the Love Island fandom, and she already proved she’s stellar at her job leading Love Island USA.
Where to watch Love Island Games in US and UK
The wait is almost over, and everyone, regardless of which side of the Atlantic they’re on, is eager to know how they can tune in. In the United States, Love Island Games season two will stream exclusively on Peacock, with the premiere landing on September 16, 2025. Episodes are expected to drop daily, following the same addictive format as the flagship series.
Sadly, for people in the UK, the show’s reportedly not coming out on ITVX until later in the year. Closer reported that it might not even be added to the streaming service until next year.
