Eccentric reality TV duo known as the Bogdanoff Twins denied ever having plastic surgery
They described the claims they'd had surgery as 'sensationalism'
It’s not uncommon for celebrities and reality TV stars to deny ever having plastic surgery, and sometimes it’s very obvious that they’ve had work done.
If you’ve never heard of the Bogdanoff Twins, they were a very eccentric French reality TV duo who first rose to fame by introducing their French audiences to nerdy shows such as Doctor Who.
They soon became huge TV stars, and soon appeared on major reality TV shows such as the French version of The Masked Singer, disguised as parrots.
The pair were known for their good looks in their early twenties, but were soon accused of getting major plastic surgery in their lips, cheekbones and chin, amongst other procedures.
However, the pair strongly denied every having had plastic surgery, vowing in a 2017 interview: “I say it solemnly, we have never used it.”
The Bogdanoff Twins instead said their changing appearance was as a result of “”advanced protocols and technologies” which sounds like a very fancy description for plastic surgery to me.
They explained they’d experimented with experiments “far beyond the realm of conventional medicine” which dramatically affected how their faces looked…
During on appearance on a French TV show, the pair claimed that they’d be the victims of “radiation experiments” during a trip to the USA.
Thy explained that they were “guinea pigs” in radiation experiments which included “wavelengths which are more or less penetrating and which give, one can say, interferences.”
However, the pair did later admit that they fabricated the whole thing in order to make themselves appear more mysterious.
Igor Bogdanoff was also very vocally against plastic surgery as a whole, and the pair dismissed the claims they’d had plastic surgery as “sensationalism.”
