Ts Madison brutally rips into Snoop Dogg for his comments ‘rooted in homophobia’
She had a list of questions for him
Snoop Dogg said that he’s been left “scared to go to the movies” after a recent experience. The rapper took his grandchildren to watch the Lightyear movie, and when they asked him some questions regarding the relationships between cast members, he was left stumped. Snoop Dogg not only admitted he didn’t know what to tell his grandkids regarding a lesbian couple appearing in the movie, but he decided to tell the world he “didn’t have an answer for that sh**” on a public radio interview.

Rapper Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, has been known and loved for a long time. His career kicked off in the early nineties. But now he’s hurt a lot of people with his latest comments. According to X user Dom Lucre, Snoop has “infuriated the LGBTQ+ community.”
Speaking on the It’s Giving podcast, he explained: “I took my grandsons to watch Lightyear, we watching it and the lady… she had a baby with a woman… my grandson, in the middle of the movie is like ‘Papa Snoop’ why she have a baby with a woman, she a woman?’ Ohh sh**, I didn’t come here for this sh**, I just came to watch the goddamn movie… They just said ‘she and she had a baby, they both women, how did she have a baby?’ Shhh… movie aint over yet… f*** me, I’m scared to go to the movies now. You’re throwing me in the middle of sh** that I don’t have an answer for.”
Ts Madison fires back at Snoop Dogg
Following Snoop Dogg’s comments, Ts Madison aired her thoughts to TMZ. She said: “Well, I have questions, I wrote a few of them down. Snoop Dogg has historically been an advocate against censoring and his fame is based off expression. So, my question is, Snoop, you have music videos with women dancing with and kissing other women, dancing naked, so why is displaying lesbian behaviour in your music videos appropriate and you are afraid to answer the questions from your grandchildren?”
TMZ’s reporters responded to Ts Madison’s question, suggesting that Snoop Dogg could say the music videos “aren’t for kids.” The Drag Race star continued: “Kids see everything, they see music videos, they hear lyrics…” The reporters chimed in: “That’s where parenting comes in.” Ts then thanked them and added: “As a parent, you should also explain to your children that other things exist in the world outside of what you have deemed normal in your own home.” Ts continued to add she thinks the comments are “rooted in a bit of homophobia. You’re never afraid to talk to your kid about having a little boyfriend or a little girlfriend at a certain age.”
“I know we’ve been conditioned to understand heteronormative activity… that’s all we see because we’ve always, as queer people, been pushed to the side and swept under. So, it is time for us to have these uncomfortable conversations. Maybe not at four,” she concluded.
