Wait, was this Big Brother star passing off iconic RuPaul’s Drag Race quotes as his own?!
Not the 'Your loading symbol above your head' line
Before his eviction, Jimmy was dropping iconic quotes in Big Brother US, but it looks like none of them are original. From RuPaul’s Drag Race to the Real Housewives, he’s certainly a reality show fanatic, or weirdly, seems to have the same memorable lines in his vocabulary.
People have started to notice just how much Jimmy attempts to pull one-liners. One of them refers to the line, “Your loading symbol above your head,” which happened during the Aja and Irina argument on Drag Race just a few months ago.
To be fair, Jimmy changed ‘loading’ to ‘buffering’ but it really isn’t that different! He also said, “Your gameplay is so full of s***, the toilet is jealous,” which again was first spoken on Drag Race, and, “This is your moment, you’re not going to have many more.”
He said, “The only thing fake about me are these designer sunglasses,” like when Aviva threw her prosthetic leg on The Real Housewives of New York. It’s sort of different, because she said, “The only thing that is fake or artificial about me is this!” before kicking off.
To be fair though, everyone is so here for it, especially because it looked like Jimmy was living his “reality TV fantasy” on Big Brother. Others found the whole thing cringe, with one writing, “Cringiest thing was rehearsing that sunglasses bit. She thought she ate with that.”
Another said, “The DELIVERY is making me want to disappear and never join society AGAIN,” while someone else wrote, “I don’t have the energy to take up issue with a Drag Race gay parroting iconic lines. He must know Drag Race fans are going to recognise the line.”
Jimmy told interviewer David Wysong that he would love to return to another CBS show, such as The Traitors, House of Villains or even The Amazing Race. He’s still quoting iconic lines after leaving, such as Charli XCX’s 360 song, “And that’s just how it T-I-S.”
