Meghan Markle sends secret ‘intentional message’ to Royal family during Netflix series
Well, that's one way to say it
Meghan Markle’s latest batch of Netflix episodes are out, and that means the scathing reviews are in. People seem to literally love picking apart anything Meghan does. It appears a woman can’t bee-keep, bake, or hang out with her famous friends in peace anymore – not when people think she’s sending a secret “intentional message” to the royal family via her Netflix show, anyway.
With Love, Meghan season two just dropped
According to The Express, the first batch of episodes of Meghan’s show saw her donning a “quiet luxury wardrobe of tailored staples.”
Now, season two has dropped. And that means one thing, people think she’s sending a “secret message” to the royal family – through her wardrobe?! A style expert has weighed in on what Meghan is giving this season, and it’s apparently pretty sassy.
Stylist says she’s sending a ‘secret message’
The With Love, Meghan trailer sees the Duchess of Sussex being creative, learning new things, and wearing a load of chic outfits. She’s donning crisp oversized shirts, high-waisted jeans, burgundy jumpers, floral dresses, and the whole thing is giving ‘timeless, classic’, and ‘old money’, basically.
While some people might’ve assumed Meghan was just going smart-casual for the sake of it, a stylist, named Cynthia Kennedy, has whole different take. She said “Meghan’s style on season two of her Netflix show is sending a clear message, explaining: “Her revamped style is sending everyone a message that I don’t have to dress like a duchess anymore. I get to dress like myself, and be more approachable, modern, authentic and real.”
Cynthia continued and compared Meghan’s season one and two looks: “Her choices feel deliberate and more like a conscious move toward comfort, vulnerability, relatability, and ease without losing that sense of polish that keeps her aspirational. It’s a careful balance, and I think she’s hitting it.”
According to the California-based style guru, “In season one, Meghan dressed in put-together looks that were almost ‘Duchess-lite’, clean tailoring and muted neutrals… Whereas in season two, her style felt softer, relaxed, effortless, and more lived-in.” The overall message? Meghan is apparently giving a signal “that she’s not trying to perform ‘royalty’ anymore, but instead connect with people as a modern woman, wife, and mother.”
