Mark Labbett – known to most as The Chase’s Beast, has finally found someone who can outsmart his single status, and it’s all thanks to Celebs Go Dating. The quiz master, best known for intimidating contestants, is apparently no longer on the market after meeting beautician Deanne Perkins during filming. The unlikely duo hit it off instantly, proving that love can pop up in the most unexpected places, even under the glare of reality TV cameras. From quiz show king to hopeless romantic, it seems the Beast may have finally met his match and we’re already obsessed.
Mark didn’t have the best luck before Deanne
The 60-year-old quiz guru quietly started seeing Deanne Perkins, a 57-year-old beautician he met on the show. Despite their considerable height gap, Mark stands at six-foot-six and Deanne at five-foot-two, the pair “instantly connected” during filming and have since continued seeing one another, per The Sun.
“They were seen having lunch at the Banyers House Hotel in Royston, Hertfordshire,” per the report.
Previously to his current romance, Mark doesn’t appear to have had the best of luck. He dated TV presenter Hayley Palmer for a year. But the two broke up in 2024.
He was married to Katie Labbett from 2014 to 2020, and the two share a son. Katie and Mark are second cousins, and she is 27 years his junior. They met on Facebook and are now co-parents to their seven-year-old son, Lawrence.

Mark has apparently waved goodbye to his bachelor lifestyle, and he’s now said to be loved up with Deanne, who he met during Celebs Go Dating.
The Chase legend and his beautician beau have “been enjoying getting to know each other away from the cameras,” per The Sun’s source.
Deanne, per her Facebook pages, is a sought-after brow expert who loves nothing more than performing a glow-up on her clients.
She looks to love all things glam, as she smiles in snaps on her page, wearing evening gowns and flawless makeup. Deanne runs her own aesthetics business, has her own home salon, and reps 6K followers on her Facebook page.
The Celebs Go Dating star writes in one post that she’s super experienced in her field: “35 years in beauty, 17 years mastering semi-permanent makeup, and thousands of brows designed to perfection.”
