Exclusive: Celebs Go Dating’s Anna spills what she REALLY thinks of Louis Russell’s hook-ups
'He didn't have a clue what he was signing up for'
Anna Williamson sat down with Reality Shrine to speak all things Celebs Go Dating, and even went as far as to say Louis Russell, who first grew to fame on Too Hot To Handle, is one of her favourite celebrities they’ve ever had in the history of the show.
As we’ve all seen, Louis Russell’s romances on the show were clearly short-lived – even the flirty thing he had going on with Liv Walker -because he’s recently gone public with his new relationship to Huda Mustafa, who recently appeared on Love Island USA season seven.
Either way, Anna is super proud of him and has spilled what it’s really like to coach Louis as a client. She admitted that Louis “didn’t have a clue what he was signing up for” but described him as an “adorable little puppy she was tough on.”
She said that, while he “raised eyebrows for sure,” all the celebrities come onto the show for different reasons and added: “It’s important to remember that they don’t have to be all good and for one person. Polyamory is very on trend!”
“People can have hook-ups, as long as they handle it appropriately. We had an initial challenge with Louis, but he rapidly proved himself to me, and is now one of my favourite celebs we’ve ever had in the history of the show,” Anna continued.
She explained he was “willing to self-reflect and change,” proving that “great things can happen,” and revealed how she often checks in with the celebrities via a WhatsApp group because she knows they’re “being very real and vulnerable.”
Anna reminds us that the point of Celebs Go Dating isn’t to find someone to get married or find somebody at all, but hinted that they do “strike gold a few times” on this season, even though “not all of them were open – but most exceeded our expectations.”
