Drag Race stars who spent the most on surgery, from Madonna lookalike to botched injections
One queen spent over $100K and is still going
Several RuPaul’s Drag Race queens haven’t shied away from surgery, from a Madonna lookalike to one star getting botched injections. Venus D-Lite has spent $125K just to look like a singer, while Detox begged doctors to undo wonky abs he was once given.
1. Venus D-Lite – £125,000
Venus D-Lite has spent the most on surgery, having dedicated her entire look to being a Madonna impersonator, which has cost them over £125K. They’ve had 18 surgeries, including cheek bone implants, chin implants, jaw implants, fillers, Botox, and a nose job.
2. Detox – £13,000+
Basically, Detox discovered a love for silicon injections from a young age, but ended up getting wonky six-pack abs in a botched surgery. Luckily, she got them fixed, but spent at least £13,000 on her surgeries over time, which she ended up regretting massively.
3. Kylie Sonique Love – £10,000+
Sonique was the first ever Drag Race star to undergo gender reassignment surgery in 2012, costing anywhere between £10,000 to £30,000. She also had a nose job, which costs up to £7,000, as well as breast augmentation, which can be around £8,000.
4. Gigi Goode – £10,000+
Gigi, who was a finalist on Drag Race season 12, revealed that she was undergoing hormone replacement therapy and facial feminisation surgery after coming out as transgender, with the latter potentially costing up to £50,000 in some instances.
5. Sharon Needles – £1,200+
Sharon has always been really open about getting filler in her lips and cheeks after Drag Race, as well as undergoing Botox injections. Cheek filler in the UK costs anywhere between £375 to £1200 per session, and Sharon regularly gets hers topped up.
6. Raven – £8,000+

She underwent a breast reduction at the young age of 15, and regularly gets lip filler today. She often gets fillers, Botox, and electrolysis injections but has denied ever getting nose or big toe surgery, despite constant speculation that she’s done so.
