Love Is Blind theory reveals how to tell who gets engaged early on, based on past seasons

From Lauren and Cameron to Brennon and Alexa, there’s a really strong Love Is Blind theory about how to tell who gets engaged to who from an early stage. We saw it happen Chelsea and Kwame, Zach and Bliss, and their love triangle involving Irina, and there’s evidence.
Basically, the theory is that whoever gets shown as someone’s first date in episode one of the season is usually who they end up getting engaged to. This is a long time before we even get into the nitty gritty pods conversations, and just see small snippets of the contestants.
One person said: “I always notice in episode one when they are having their first dates whoever they are shown with first is the person that they’re engaged to. I noticed it before, but I started season 5, changed my mind and started season 3 and can say it’s true for both seasons.”
Lauren and Cameron
Nine minutes into Love Is Blind season one episode one, Lauren and Cameron are shown on their first date. She tells cameras that the “quality of men is excellent” before they immediately start showing the chemistry between them. Now, they’re expecting a baby!
Matt and Colleen
Okay, so we know Matt and Colleen have recently split, but they did stay together for years after Love Is Blind. However, this theory didn’t actually work for them, because Colleen’s first date was shown to be with Andrew, who’s known for that eye drops moment.
Brennon and Alexa
During Love Is Blind season three episode one, Brennon and Alexa ended up getting engaged and have now had a child. They immediately opened up and connected on the topic of their parents, and voila! They had the first proposal of the entire season.
Chelsea and Kwame
Chelsea and Kwame are still married and leaving in Seattle, after they met on Love Is Blind season four. From literally the moment the fourth season began, they introduced each other, and Chelsea had him at, “Cool name.” No mystery left for us to solve, then!
Zack and Bliss
Zack was Bliss’ first date in the pods in season four, and of course, the theory worked again. It’s not completely fool-proof, but alas, she asked him if he knew who she was purely by her voice, and it was the first we saw of the two. They’re now married!
Irina and Zach
Now we know there was a crossover, which meant that Zack had two romances in the Love Is Blind pods. But basically, while he did propose to Irina, and was shown as her first date, they ended up splitting by the time they got to Mexico, and he switched up to marry Bliss instead.
Love Is Blind UK
If this theory works for Love Is Blind UK season two, it will mean that the following people get engaged:
- Ashleigh and Billy
- Sophie and Kieran
- Megan and Kieran (her first date was also Kieran – Zach, Irina and Bliss x2?)
- Patrick and Aanu
- Sarova and Charlie
