Celebs Go Dating star Kerry Katona’s insane OnlyFans earnings saved her from bankruptcy
She was declared bankrupt in 2008 and 2013
Celebs Go Dating‘s Kerry Katona revealed that having an OnlyFans account has affected her dating life. She’s been selling explicit photos for £19.99 per month for several years, and has the video creation website to thank for getting her out of bankruptcy.
She went through financial hardship and resorted to taking steamy pics to make money, which has been so successful that she’s been able to buy an incredible home and a Lamborghini, as well as send her children to private school, including her 18-year-old daughter.
Kerry revealed that she “went into bankruptcy and lost all her money” during her second marriage to her mum’s drug dealer, which happened just after she went to rehab. Years since then, Kerry has become a millionaire, and it’s all thanks to OnlyFans.
Kerry now earns tens of thousands a month through subscriptions and credits the site for allowing her to set up other businesses. She now runs a clothing business and set up her own dating app, but OnlyFans started because she needed £50 to feed her children.
She told The Sun: “People are quick to say, ‘she’s desperate’ if I get out a bit of nipple, but I’ve made my first million since bankruptcy and I’m so, so proud. If it wasn’t for OnlyFans I wouldn’t have had money to invest in myself and in making more companies.”
She revealed she struggled to pay the rent during lockdown, and had to sell a jukebox bought for her by her ex-husband, Westlife’s Brian McFadden, to pay the bills. And Kerry doesn’t make videos but just sells photos that aren’t that different from her Page 3 modelling days.
She said: “It has a lot of sexy pictures similar to stuff I’ve done before for magazines, but new. It’s made me a millionaire again.” Kerry also blamed her bankruptcy on the accountants she hired and never being taught how to manage money before making it big.
