Oh god, Love Island USA’s Cierra has only gone and made a really controversial post again

Cierra Ortega was removed from the Love Island USA villa after a post of her using a racial slur was discovered, which she apologised for, and now she’s made yet another controversial post. She asked people if it would be offensive if she put her hair into braids.
Since she was booted off the show, she took to social media to apologise and it was even found that she’d said sorry about a year before she went into the villa. However, Cierra is now being slammed for cultural appropriation after she debated whether to change her hair.
Cierra, who is quite literally always away somewhere on holiday, wrote: “POC queens I have a serious question. Am I allowed to get braids? or will the Internet eat me up? I don’t want to be offensive, I just want manageable hair on vacay.”

One person responded: “She wants “a manageable hairstyle for vaca” but is going to proceed to get box braids without having the right hair type for it?” Another wrote: “It’s the same thing when some influencer says something racist and then apologises.”
“Ngl if u even have to ask this question, that means u shouldn’t be wearing them 🤣 like it’s really not that hard of a concept to grasp,” said a Reddit user, after a thread was started purely to discuss the fact Cierra genuinely asked this on her Instagram story.

She’s been rubbing people up the wrong way since she left the villa, including when she wore a Jade stone to ward off negativity energy during her apology video, and when she shared a video that she claimed she’d made before entering the villa.
