After not one, but two public hand-holding sightings of Louis Russell and Huda Mustafa, Love Island USA stans are raising their perfectly groomed eyebrows. But while sparks seem to be flying between the Too Hot To Handle star and the Love Island USA season seven beauty, not everyone is buying the romance. In fact, social media is savagely convinced the pair are together for one sad reason.
Huda and Louis stepped out hand-in-hand
So, following Louis’ appearances on Perfect Match season three and Celebs Go Dating series 14, he is now stepping out hand-in-hand with Huda.
Huda was pretty much fresh out the Love Island USA villa when she and Louis were papped together for the first time. Then, on July 31, the two made their connection known when they appeared on the red carpet together.
Their romance has now become something of a controversy as Love Island USA stars began unfollowing both Louis and Huda.
Miguel Harichi actually took to Instagram to share this thoughts on the whole drama. He wrote in a Story post:
“…People I called my friends feeling as though they have the right to talk on my relationship so negatively in such a public manner with no regard for how this might affect my girls mental!
“Making assumptions without first understanding reasons behind certain actions and using that to let people drag her name and drag my relationship is disgusting! I’m beyond disappointed I’m beyond upset and I honestly want no part in any of it…
“…The people u thought I was close to please remove that idea from you’re mind because it’s clear to me now we’re walking 2 different paths, and to shed light on a certain topic Leah and the girls didn’t unfollow Louis because he was dating Huda they did it because as women the reasoning behind why he was dating her didn’t sit right with them, whether or not they are truly falling for each other at this point I couldn’t care less I wish them nothing but peace but my road is my own and I would prefer if my name and my girls name no longer crossed into their world.”

Louis Russell dating Huda Mustafa has seemingly ended his friendship with Miguel. And, it’s apparently lost him some followers, too, including Miguel’s girlfriend, Leah Kateb.
Miguel said in his post: “…the girls didn’t unfollow Louis because he was dating Huda they did it because as women the reasoning behind why he was dating her didn’t sit right with them…”
And, he’s not the only person who seems to think the whole thing is a bit fishy. Since leaving the villa, Huda has been steadily building upon her personal brand with influencer deals, collabs, and a flood of glossy Instagram content for her almost five million followers.
Since she and Louis were spotted strolling hand-in-hand in LA, the internet didn’t celebrate a new reality TV power couple. Instead, the whispers of it being “a PR move” started.
Over on Reddit, fans are dissecting every pixel of their paparazzi pics. “Right, the man is on every reality show. Of course he’s clout chasing!” one user commented, while another added: “This just feels like a PR pic.”
To be fair, Huda has emerged as one of the most talked-about Islanders in recent memory. So the theory could check out. Another Redditor wrote: “He’s definitely a player and wants the clout!”
More took to Louis’ Instagram posts to comment: “clout chaser final boss,” and “It was obvious he was using Huda this whole time, and Huda being a lover girl fell for it.”
But one also said: “Guys, Huda and Louis are grown enough to chose who they want to date we don’t know either of them personally.”
The theories keep on coming
Whether it’s true love, calculated clout, or something messier in between, one thing’s certain, this potential situationship is oozing main-character energy, and the internet isn’t letting go any time soon.
