Love Island USA star opens up about car accident that left her ‘bedridden’ before filming
'I was hopeless, depressed'
Hannah Fields was only on Love Island USA for nine days, but during her short spell on the Peacock show, she seriously got people’s attention. Hannah was coupled up with Pepe Garcia and, erm, the two got cosy kinda quickly. Their bedroom antics made for a viral meme moment on social media, and it’s probably one to go down in the show’s history. She’s now sharing that just months before appearing on the show, she was involved in a terrifying accident.

While her time in the Love Island USA villa was brief, Hannah made a big impact: her fun-loving spirit, fitness-first persona, and emotional maturity earned her a place in fans’ hearts. She represented a fresh, grounded energy in season seven.
But, it turns out that the Tucson, Arizona gal had actually been through a whole lot before filming began.
In a new TikTok post, Hannah opens up about a “terrible” car accident she endured.
She got vulnerable in her post, writing: “Eight months ago, I was bedridden after a terrible car accident, hopeless, depressed, and unsure of what the future held.”
Hannah is making her dreams come true

Following her car accident, it appears Hannah took to TikTok to share some posts about how she bounced back after “surgery.”
Now, she’s sharing how “the months since have been an emotional rollercoaster” for her.
She said they’ve been “…full of challenges and constant adjustment to a new reality,” adding: “It pushed me to take risks I could have never imagined, which ended up completely changing my life.
“I would be lying if I said this adjustment has been easy, and quite frankly, I have been struggling to find my place in this world. But today, I got my dream dog and moved into my dream apartment.”
Hannah added how she’s “still healing” and “still learning to navigate life.” But, she also said it’s these kinds of moments that make her “grateful” and “appreciative” of the life she lives.
The Love Island USA season seven star also gave people some love in the comments, writing: “…and I am so so so grateful for all of you… every single one of you took part in healing my inner child, and I am overflowing with love and gratitude.”
Fellow season seven alum Belle-A Walker commented words of support on Hannah’s post, and said she was “proud” of her.
