When JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez first coupled up on Love Island USA season six, fans were captivated by their chemistry. They made it all the way to the top three, appeared smitten in Beyond the Villa, and racked up a loyal league of followers as they navigated life outside the show.
But behind the curated Instagram photos and joint interviews, the cracks were slowly beginning to show, and by the end of July 2025, those cracks had turned into a full-blown split.
JaNa and Kenny ‘split’ rumours
On July 27, it was reported that JaNa officially ended things with Kenny earlier that morning. Neither of them has issued a public statement, but the signs were hard to miss. TMZ also confirmed the break-up. JaNa unfollowed Kenny on social media, deleted all their couple photos, and removed his name from her bio. Kenny quickly did the same. The silence was telling, and people immediately picked up on it.
Adding to the drama, JaNa’s closest friends from the villa, Serena Page and Leah Kateb, also unfollowed Kenny, along with their partners. When an entire friend group cuts ties at the same time, it’s rarely a coincidence.
JaNa and Kenny were long-distance
After Love Island USA season six ended, JaNa stayed in Las Vegas while Kenny returned to Dallas. Even though they tried to make things easier by renting apartments near each other for a time, the distance and differing day-to-day routines seemed to create strain.
Peacock’s Beyond the Villa spinoff kicked off this summer and features both JaNa and Kenny. During the show, they revealed that they were still long-distance and living separately, per Us Weekly.
“Since leaving the villa, it’s a big jump moving in together with someone, and I didn’t want it to be televised, especially the first time… So we rented rooms next to each other. Another aspect for me is privacy. When JaNa gets ready for events, she has a huge glam team. Usually, there’s somebody in there for wardrobe, and sometimes I don’t have the space to change and things like that. Granted, we were always together on the show. It was great to experience L.A. and to be with her in the same city,” Kenny told Variety.
Different relationship goals
JaNa made it clear she was looking for a long-term commitment, often talking about marriage and a shared future. Kenny, on the other hand, appeared more reserved and private about those discussions.
That mismatch may have led to emotional disconnect behind the scenes.
Casa Amor fallout
It wasn’t just Serena Page and Kordell Beckham who had some Casa Amor drama to deal with during season six.

He struggled with vulnerability and rarely took the lead in progressing their relationship, which may have left JaNa feeling uncertain.

The final unravelling seemingly happened almost overnight. One day, they were sharing couples’ content, and the next, all traces of their relationship were wiped clean.
No drama, no announcements, just silence. Social media went into detective mode, and before long, people had pieced the whole thing together.
Even their Love Island USA co-stars seemed surprised. Rob, Kendall, Serena, and Leah appeared to react in real time, commenting or unfollowing as the news broke online.
