Simone Biles is slating Kylie Jenner’s clothing brand and she is not happy at all
The XXS was too long for her arms
Athlete Simone Biles is not happy with her latest delivery from Khy, otherwise known as Kylie Jenner‘s clothing brand. She’s done a try-on and even labelled the brand as “criminal” for its sizing on a burgundy blazer she decided to order.
Simone Biles ordered a KHY blazer in the smallest size
Simone ordered a blazer from Khy in the smallest size and berated the sizing online. She wrote on her Instagram Story, “Ms. Kylie Jenner, this is a crime !!!!!! This is not an XXS/XS.” The sleeves went way past her arms, and there’s no doubt it was clearly far too big for her.
She then shared a photo of Gigi Hadid wearing a ridiculously oversized blazer and wrote: “This is me on the last slide. SICK.” Simone, who is 4ft 8in, had bought the Khy Faux Leather Oversized Blazer in the merlot shade, which retails for $138.
On the Khy website, the model wearing the blazer is 5ft 11in wearing the XXS size, which shows it’s an oversized fit. People are now demanding that Kylie tailors Simone, who is believed to have bought the blazer, a new one.
She is really unhappy with Kylie Jenner’s brand
Simone called Khy sizing “criminal” but a source close to Kylie herself has since defended the jacket to The Independent, saying it was meant to be an oversized piece that replicates how the reality star “loves to wear her jackets.”
“Even though it’s an XXS/XS, you can push the sleeves up, wear open or fully buttoned up, or pair with tights and a bralette to wear it almost like a dress. It is supposed to have an almost trench-like look when worn over a dress,” the source said.
They added: “It was developed alongside other oversized pieces in the KHY Wardrobe collection.” KHY, which gets Kylie completely involved in the process, also offers non-oversized blazers on their website.
