Ginger Minj reveals Acid Betty saved her life after severe emergency during Drag Race tour
She was suffering from extreme 'internal bleeding'
It turns out that Drag Race star Ginger Minj has Acid Betty to thank for quite literally saving her life during the Drag Race tour, after she suffered from severe “internal bleeding.”
During a chat with Entertainment Weekly alongside their fellow All Stars 10 queens, Ginger Minj revealed that Acid Betty saved her life whilst the Drag Race queens toured alongside Daya Betty.
Ginger explained: “Acid literally saved my life on tour and took me to the hospital years ago.”
She explained that she had “some internal bleeding” during the tour but felt like she needed to carry on with the show, because she was trying “to be a professional girl” on the road.
She continued: “I was just kind of putting on the pads and tights and doing the show. Afterwards, [Acid] actually noticed that I was covered in blood.
“My tights were covered in blood. I was like, ‘Girl, it’s fine, I’ll throw those away! I’ve got more tights, let’s get to the tour bus. We’ve got to go to the next stop.'”
She continued, recalling: “She said, ‘Nope, you’re getting into this car and we’re going to the emergency room!'”
The Drag Race star also revealed that despite her health emergency, she was up and ready for the next show, now that’s some serious dedication!
