So, let’s have a look at all the Love on the Spectrum cast members who already appeared on TV before Love on the Spectrum, and what they starred in.
Abbey

Abbey starred in a TV Christmas movie called Get Him Back for Christmas in 2024, where she played the role of Mia.
And it wasn’t just as a small role either, Abi gets her own named section and a shot of her character during the film’s trailer.
James
Love on the Spectrum cast member James appeared as a voice actor in an animated children’s TV show on Netflix called Spirit Rangers, where he voiced a character called Native American Grandad.
David

David is also no stranger to a set, as it turns out he appeared in a hugely popular Netflix series as a cast member before starring in Love on the Spectrum.
Whilst not listed on his IMDb page, it turns out David actually appeared in Atypical on Netflix, a comedy drama which ran for four seasons from 2017 to 2021.
David appears in season two of the show during episode three, where a peer group meeting is taking place. If you want to watch him in action, you can see him on-screen around 18 minutes and 30 seconds into the episode.

Elaine Hall discussed the choice of casting for the scene, emphasising the importance of including autistic actors for the scene to make it authentic.
She explained how the actors were chosen, saying: “The actors and actresses from The Miracle Project interviewed and auditioned among a broad talent search.
“The casting directors received hundreds of inquiries. The actors and actresses were chosen for their talent, professionalism and wonderful, distinct personalities.”
Callie

Yeah, so it turns out Callie starred in her own film all about her life called, TrueLove: The Film, which explores her journey and spreads awareness about Williams Syndrome.
Per IMDb, Truelove: The Film also stars Carrie Underwood and Wynonna Judd. The film even won the award for Audience Choice Award: Best Documentary Feature Film at the 22nd Annual Beverly Hills Film Festival.
