Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift are allegedly feuding AGAIN over a very coveted film role
They're both in talks to play the lead in a huge remake of an iconic film
It feels like it’s been a hot minute since we heard any drama between Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian, but now the pair are allegedly feuding again as they compete for the lead role in a major film remake.
If you cast your mind back to a couple of months ago and you might recall that there was some serious chat around the new Bodyguard remake.
At the time, everyone was convinced that Taylor Swift was being lined up to star in the lead role, previously played by Whitney Houston; however, now it seems Kim Kardashian is also being eyed up as a serious contender.
The main evidence behind Taylor Swift originally being cast for the lead role was that the remake is being directed by Sam Wrench, the same director who managed the 2023 film about the Era’s Tour.
However, now insiders are claiming that alongside Taylor Swift, a script has been written with “Kim Kardashian in mind.”
A source told Daily Mail: “Everyone immediately assumed Taylor would get the lead, the role played by Whitney Houston in the original film, because The Bodyguard remake is being directed by Sam Wrench, who directed the 2023 film about Taylor’s Eras Tour.
“But Warner Bros, the studio remaking the original, is very keen on Kim. There have already been multiple meetings, and the script has been written with Kim in mind.”
And as it would turn out, Kim actually has over 30 acting credits on IMDb compared to Taylor Swift, including American Horror Story, Ocean’s Eight and even How I Met Your Mother.
Still, as it stands, neither Kim Kardashian nor Taylor Swift has been confirmed for the roles, so at the moment it’s all just speculation, but juicy speculation nonetheless!
