It turns out David starred in a HUGE Netflix series as an actor before Love on the Spectrum?!
I can't believe I never noticed it was him?!
Right, so it seems that for some of the cast of Love on the Spectrum, it’s not their first time in front of a camera, as Callie already appeared in her own film before the show?!
And it turns out David is also no stranger to a set, as it turns out he appeared in a hugely popular Netflix series before starring in Love on the Spectrum.
Whilst not listed on his IMDb page, it turns out David actually appeared in Atypical on Netflix, a comedy drama which ran for four seasons from 2017 to 2021.

David appears in season two of the show during episode three, where a peer group meeting is taking place. If you want to watch him in action, you can see him on-screen around the 18:30 mark.

Elaine Hall discussed the choice of casting for the scene, emphasising the importance of including autistic actors for the scene to make it authentic.
She explained how the actors were chosen, saying: “The actors and actresses from The Miracle Project interviewed and auditioned among a broad talent search.
“The casting directors received hundreds of inquiries. The actors and actresses were chosen for the talent, professionalism and wonderful distinct personalities.”

She continued: “At The Miracle Project, we work on acting technique, self confidence, self-advocacy, interview and auditioning. They brought their unique personalities to the casting call and their talent rose above the others.”
So now that David has two Netflix shows under his belt, including Love on the Spectrum, who knows what we might be seeing him appear in next!
