With The Bachelor getting ready to air its finale, we’ll see who Grant Ellis finally decides to pick. If you haven’t seen all the spoilers already, then you may not know who Grant gets or doesn’t get engaged to, but there’s been a load of other changes made this year, from the location to the women being allowed to see each other.
The Bachelor changes include its location
The Bachelor has never had its final rose ceremony in a theater on a stage, like this year. Reality Steve said, “They don’t let us talk to each other. They don’t want us talking to each other. Now, seems to have changed, which I think is a positive change. I definitely think we’ve never had a Final Four Rose Ceremony on a stage in a theater. That’s a first. It’s either been at a mansion, or a hotel lobby, or an airport hangar.”
Reality Steve, an expert on spoilers for the show, added, “Certainly has never been on a stage in a theater. I think it’s a theater they’ve used in the past, for sure. I know they’ve been to that theater for dates in the past. Can’t remember the name of it. I’m forgetting, but they’ve definitely used it. And it was just, I don’t know. It was just kind of funny to watch it.”
The finale was held in the Dominican Republic, where Grant will struggle to choose between Litia and Juliana. Some people are convinced he’ll leave the show single, but Reality Steve claims (spoiler alert!) that he’s told Grant gets engaged to Juliana, who has recently posted lots of hints about where they stand now.
Final four women were allowed to see each other
Once you leave for hometown dates, you’re not usually allowed to converse with any of the other women because producers don’t want the contestants talking to the other women about your hometown date for fear of something coming up or Grant hearing about something that one of the other women said about a hometown. However, Reality Steve wrote, “But yesterday? Totally different. They were back in L.A.”
He added, “All four women were sitting there on the day of the rose ceremony and just sharing stories of what went down on their hometowns. I’m just telling you, the way the show has been, and you talked to past contestants, they said, once you get to Final Four, you never get to see the other women or talk to them outside of seeing them standing there at the Rose Ceremony.”
There’s been other changes on The Bachelor
Throughout the season, there’s been new introduction video packages from the contestants, such as Parisa and Juliana. This makes total sense because we all know who made it to his final two! They usually show all of their introductions before they even get out of the limo to meet The Bachelor lead, but this time, they spread out their intros once they’d entered the mansion.
Usually, there’s around seven or eight video packages that are shown once Jesse Palmer leaves the limo, but they made us wait this time! This time, they didn’t show a woman’s video package until she came out of the limo and she is walking towards Grant. Another change was how short the meet the family segments were! They spent around three minutes at some of the hometown dates, when usually there’s around 10.
