Love Is Blind’s Monica reveals the WILD reason Joey and Sara are ‘waiting to go official’
'She was saying she had my back'
Love Is Blind season eight may be over, but the cast drama certainly isn’t when it comes to Monica, Joey, and Sara. Monica Danús is spilling some serious tea when it comes to her partner in the experiment, Joey Leveille and her co-star Sara Carton. Monica and Joey were the first to get engaged on the show, and they made it all the way down the aisle. But, they didn’t take things further once they got to the altar.

Love Is Blind’s Monica spills tea on Joey and Sara
Monica may have been pretty much cool as a cucumber during her time on Love Is Blind. But, she’s coming out with some piping hot tea this March.
The cameras have stopped rolling, but the drama’s coming through as she reveals the relationship status of her ex and co-star – and she says the news has come straight from Sara herself.
Monica says she’s had enough of “keeping the peace” in her life and is “so sick of the lies,” adding: “Just own up to it at this point,” in an interview with Elite Daily.
Sara and Joey were trying to maintain that they just had a “great friendship” following the show.
Sara spoke publicly of how the two “definitely weren’t dating.”
But, Monica is calling them out.
She says she’s spoken directly to Sara, and on one phone call found out the two are “seeing each other.”
Monica reveals she was told: “Nothing’s official, but we are seeing each other.”
The wild reason Joey and Sara are ‘waiting to go official’
Not only does Monica say the opposite of what Sara went on record to admit. But, she also gives the couple’s wild reason for not going public with their romance just yet.
“She said they didn’t want to make anything official until any online hate dies down,” explained Monica.
It looks like she also has some reason to be pretty fuming about the two getting together, or the timeline at least.
Monica goes on to say: “She told me this started a month ago, so that’s at least two months ago now. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was longer.”
The Love Is Blind star adds some more savage details: “All this time when I was venting to her about Joey and she was saying she had my back, she was actually with him.”
Reality Shrine has reached out to Sara and Joey for comment.
