She thinks Mauricio is a 'great person'

Anitta has finally spilled the tea on what happened between her and Mauricio Umansky on that skiing trip. He shared the photos with the singer over a year ago, but she just went on WWHL and answered questions about where they stand with each other. We all know they’re friends, but Kyle Richards can now kind of understand what Mauricio’s five-night-partying stints are like.

Anitta spills on how she met Mauricio Umansky while skiing

Anitta has revealed she met Mauricio the day before he took the viral picture of them skiing together. She told Andy Cohen she “knew this was coming,” but only five minutes before, because otherwise she “would have called him before and asked him what to say.” Anitta then revealed, “Anyways, he is a great person. I love Mauricio, such a great guy. I met him at Aspen one day before that craziness.”

She was skiing in a towel at the time, during the December 2023 trip, with Anitta recalling, “Mauricio was the video-maker. I met him that day or the day before.” The singer has come out with the update after Kyle and Mauricio discussed photos taken of him kissing a mystery woman in Mykonos in July 2024 on the latest episode of RHOBH.

“You know that I would never want to do anything on purpose that would hurt you or hurt the kids,” Mauricio told Kyle in the episode. “I really am sorry for hurting you. I would never want to hurt you on purpose.”

She claims they are ‘good friends’ who still speak

Anitta revealed she and Mauricio “became very good friends” and “always talk”. When Andy clarified that Mauricio is single and asked if anything romantic is there between them, she hesitated and then replied, “No.” Then when he asked if she was dating anybody right now, she responded, “I don’t know.”

People are now convinced that she hesitated before answering Andy’s questions, but that’s purely speculation at this point.
