Before Love Is Blind Joey auditioned for The Bachelor and the cringey tape has now resurfaced

In what you truly have to see in order to believe, someone found a resurfaced audition tape that Joey from Love Is Blind seemingly made for The Bachelor, and I genuinely don’t know what to think.
Whilst it’s not been confirmed this video was specifically for The Bachelor, it’s titled Bachelor Video on YouTube, and throughout the clip, Joey seems to be explaining why he’d make a great addition to the show.

At the start of the video, which was posted nine years ago, the Love Is Blind star admits he’s nervous and takes a shot before Joey introduces himself to the camera. He also showed off his very cute golden retriever, who gave perhaps one of the best side eyes to the camera I’ve ever seen in my life.
Joey then goes on to explain more about his relationship history, saying he’s been in “four serious relationships.” When asked if he’s ever been “in love”, he responded “no” before semi-jokingly crying and admitting that he’s been in love “a couple of times” in his life.
Something about it all gives me young Bo Burnham vibes for some reason.
During the next segment of the video, he shows off his workout routine, which quickly descends into chaos as he rips his shirt off, but that’s nothing compared to the carnage of the following scene.
The video changed to Joey in his kitchen, wearing nothing but boxers and what seems to be a makeshift apron made out of a sheet? He loudly announces, “welcome to Joey’s kitchen,” and be prepared to temporarily lose your hearing.
I’m going to be honest his cooking leaves a lot to be desired as he plates up some ham and a whole banana, and so much happens in such a short space of time that I think you simply have to watch it for yourself.
Whether this audition tape proves he was only ever on Love Is Blind for the fame is up to you, but either way, the video of Joey was both entertaining and slightly horrifying.
