Dina reveals the moment she knew her relationship with Grant on The Bachelor was over
She admitted 'forgetting' they were dating at one point
Dina sadly got eliminated during the most recent episode of The Bachelor, but she’s admitted it didn’t come as a complete shock to her as she already realised she “wasn’t the one” for Grant.
During an interview with Us Weekly, she heartbreakingly opened up about the moment she realized that her relationship with Grant on The Bachelor was over. Here’s what she said.
She admitted: “I realised I wasn’t The One during hometowns. Something that was hard for me, and I didn’t realize until I lived it, was that when you are waiting for your hometown — and mine was last, there is, like, seven days [of waiting].
“Before that was a travel day and then the date in Scotland, we barely got to talk. So you are talking [about] nine days when we didn’t see each other, we didn’t talk, we don’t have our phones, so you don’t have anything to continue to foster that connection.”
Dina confessed that when Grant came to meet her in Chicago during The Bachelor, she “forgot” the pair were even dating, saying:” I thought, ‘Could our relationship take the test of time? Our connection isn’t as strong as I thought it was.’ That was the first time where I was like, ‘It may not be me.’”
But it seems once she knew it was over, it didn’t take her too long to get over Grant, revealing it only took her “a few weeks” to move on.
She explained: “It is such a time warp coming home from the show so it is all a blur. It’s hard to think about it.”
