Inside the ICONIC everyday life of The Bachelor’s Linda the Llama
The Bachelor featured an animal on the first episode this season, and it’s definitely a first. We’ve seen all sorts of accessories brought to the first rose ceremony, but Linda the Llama was the most crazy.
Linda the Llama belongs to Alexe, a Canadian pediatric speech therapist and early front-runner who grew up on a farm. She couldn’t possibly meet the potential love of her life, Grant Ellis, without her!

Linda the Llama is only five years old
Linda the Llama is an animal on The Bachelor contestant Alexe Godin’s farm in Canada, but is originally from Los Angeles. She is five years old and enjoys hanging out on the field, while being fed carrots.
She’s been nicknamed the ‘No Drama Llama’ and might walk slow, but literally almost got a first rose from lead Grant Ellis. Alexe explains her childhood on a farm gave her a lifelong affection for animals.
Grant was confused at their first meeting and asked, “Is that a donkey?” And not everyone was on board with Linda, such as Natalie, who has “personal experience with llamas” thanks to a spitting incident.
As for Linda’s daily life, she makes TikToks with Alexe, and can actually communicate very well! She was speaking to people on the show, saying things like, “She needs to get out more,” in llama language.
The No Drama pet helped Alexe
Alexe received a rose from Grant, and there’s no doubt Linda played her part. Grant told People, “You know what’s crazy? I never saw a llama before. They’re kind of awkward, but that llama was sweet.”
He added, “I don’t know what they’re feeding that llama, but it definitely had a really nice personality.” All of the other contestants (bar Natalie) petted and stroked the cute llama.
None of them could tell the llama apart from an alpaca, but the cameraman loved her, as he kept panning to her while she stood there. She was even third-wheeling while Alexe and Grant shared a kiss!
Unfortunately, Linda, who has a white body with a brown back, wasn’t deemed attractive enough to Grant to receive a rose and was sent home after the episode. We’ll miss you, Linda.
