Ghosting her to debuting new GF: Inside the JT and Venita drama after Southern Charm
Southern Charm’s Venita and JT are going AT it after filming Southern Charm. He apparently ghosted her once cameras packed up, and ended up getting into a new relationship soon after.
We all saw the random pairing of JT and Venita on Southern Charm. Unfortunately, their on-screen Bravo romance didn’t last, and rumor has it JT basically blanked Venita once they stopped filming.
JT decided to resign from Southern Charm
JT resigned from Southern Charm in November, just after revealing his new relationship. He said he told Bravo he won’t be taking part in his remaining confessionals, and will be quitting for the foreseeable.
Madison LeCroy told Us Weekly how he was “no longer wanted in the group” after a blown-up dinner with the cast, quitting halfway through filming, saying they’ll be “just fine without him.”
It came weeks after JT told Venita, “I’m extremely attracted to you. Are we on the same page?” She had smiled and nodded, before they began an on-screen romance, as well as saw each other off-screen.
He ‘ghosted’ Venita after filming
Venita claims JT completely ignored her after filming, while he says it was a “mentally exhausting and challenging year.” Some think he used Venita for a storyline, but she believed him at the time.
She says he “played her” and told Housewives Nightcap, “I was supposed to be going to lunch with his mom and him and hang out. Then the trailer drops, he’s acting crazy and falls off the face of the earth.”
Venita added how she was still dating him in October, when the trailer dropped, and a month later, he “popped up with a girlfriend on Instagram.” They haven’t spoken since that trailer.
JT then debuted his new relationship
In November, just after revealing he had resigned from Southern Charm, JT shared a photo with his new girlfriend, captioning it, “Long overdue.” That’s how Venita found out he’d officially moved on.
She now hopes that, although he quit the show, he’ll appear at the reunion. But JT’s girlfriend, Ali Pereless, seems to be taking up most of his time – and dinner dates – at the moment.
He shared photos of her posing with a drink in hand, as well as them at a glamorous event together. JT even posted a painting of what appears to be Ali with another woman, and a spaniel.
