RHOBH’s Bozoma Saint John undergoes surgery ‘for a shot at expanding her family’
RHOBH’s Bozoma Saint John fast-tracked her way to becoming a fan favorite in her first season on the show. The entrepreneur is much loved by people watching the Bravo show as well as her cast mates. Sadly for Bozoma, she’s been going through a lot lately.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star took to Instagram this January to share how she’d tragically lost her entire home in the California fires. Now, she’s also explaining on the RHOBH Aftershow how she had to endure surgery to take control of her reproductive health.
Bozoma Saint John details surgery
Since joining RHOBH season 14, Bozoma Saint John has started sharing her life on screen.
Now, during Bravo’s Aftershow segment, she explains how she recently opted for surgery crucial to her fertility journey.
Bozoma had one fibroid removed that was “the size of a grapefruit.” The reality TV star said how she had around 12 removed in total as they were “large and growing.”
Bozoma talks ‘expanding her family’
When it comes to why Bozoma opted in for surgery, she explains how part of the reason was related to expanding her family in the future.
She explains how she’d been “discussing fibroids with her doctor anyway.”
But, adds how she and her boyfriend, Keely Watson, have talked about having kids.
Bozoma is already mom to her daughter, Lael Saint John, who she welcomed into the world with her late husband, Peter Saint John.
Her partner, Keely, doesn’t have kids and would like three in the future, she explains to her co-star, Dorit Kemsley.
Speaking of her surgery, Bozoma added: “With the fibroids, I have zero chance at conceiving. Also, I want a shot. I want a shot at it. So then I gotta choose to do it.”
