Spencer Pratt’s 120-year-old family home has burned down as he details heartbreaking loss
Spencer Pratt has been incredibly vocal about losing his home in the Palisades fires. He has not only lost his home with wife Heidi Montag and their two sons, but the family home he grew up in.
The Palisades fires have left many people without a home. Many celebrities, including The Hills cast member Spencer Pratt, were left heartbroken over their burned houses, and he’s lost two of them.
Spencer Pratt’s family home burned down
Spencer Pratt has been sharing online videos during and after the Palisades fires. The MTV star lost his home shared with his wife, Heidi Montag, and their two sons, as well as the family home he grew up in.
The Hills former cast member revealed his parents lived in the middle of the town in a 120-year-old home. He said, “So, definitely didn’t expect it to burn down to the ground.”
Spencer shared how his mom cannot sleep, like him, in the aftermath of the fires. He wrote, “Soooooo insanely sad I will never be able to sit at my childhood home dinner table with my family ever again!”
His parents didn’t take one bag with them
Spencer said his parents’ home was burned down with every single belonging, adding they “didn’t get one bag” to take with them. He revealed both his family and his parents “have nothing.”
He shared a video saying, “When your house burns down and you have nothing, and your parents’ house burns down and you have nothing, the only thing that can make you feel better is a bag of bagels.”
“Obviously I’m in shock and my brain isn’t functioning so, I think this is the most unhinged post you’ve seen,” Spencer said, after making a trip to the local bagel store for some food.
He fears his family has changed forever
Spencer’s mom text him a video of their family saying what they’re grateful for their last ever dinner at his parents’ house. They ate with Heidi and their two sons, one of them saying he’s grateful for his family.
He said, “I wish when Heidi asked what I was thankful for I said this house! Never could I imagine this would be gone! All the memories at this table,” while sharing a video of his father sharing gratitude.
His father had said at their last-ever dinner in the home that he’s grateful for “this wonderful dinner and wonderful family.” Spencer has since said his Dad’s voice will “never sound like this again.”
