All the juicy RHOSLC text message drama between Lisa Barlow and Bronwyn Newport
Lisa Barlow and Bronwyn Newport are going AT IT in their online feud. The RHOSLC cast members were best friends, but since Lisa placed Bronwyn in a room she didn’t want to be in, the vibes were off.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is never short of drama. The cameras aren’t even capturing it all either, because Bronwyn is calling out Lisa off-screen, saying she “hasn’t bothered to reach out.”
Bronwyn released her texts with Lisa
Bronwyn Newport shared several text message exchanges of her being there for Lisa, despite their ongoing drama. She then uploaded an Instagram Story after Lisa shaded her on X.
Lisa said on RHOSLC, “I didn’t sleep great because I took everything that was said at the dinner table and was working on thinking through everything and like how I feel about what’s gone on in my friendships.”
“I’m hurt and just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse, after that dinner last night, Bronwyn came into my room and let me know that she had a really sh***y conversation about me,” she added.”
Lisa was later seen responding to a person on X who suggested she was jealous of Bronwyn. Newport then wrote, “Our show is dramatic and entertaining enough when it follows our real lives.”
“I am so appreciative of those of you who have reached out and for the cast mates who bothered to. The rest, I wish would at least leave me alone if they can’t wish me well,” Bronwyn added.
She admitted to bad-mouthing her ex-BFF
Bronwyn recently admitted on RHOSLC that she’d bad-mouthed Lisa, but told her she felt really bad for doing it. The session behind her back involved Angie Katsanevas and Heather Gay, and she apologised.
She’s since shared their text messages. After exchanging “Happy Mother’s Day” texts on May 12, Lisa reached out to Bronwyn to ask her to reschedule a meeting since she had an interview.
“Of course!” Bronwyn replied. Then, days later, Bronwyn texted Lisa about her son Jack coming home for surgery. “Is he ok? Can I do anything to help?” she asked her co-star.
They also discussed articles written about Lisa, with Bronwyn reassuring her she’s an “amazing businesswoman” who can always vent to her if she ever wants to.
However, some viewers feel Bronwyn only reaches out to her friend when legal issues come up, and don’t think it was morally right that she shared their private messages with the public.
Lisa says Bronwyn thinks she’s a producer
In recent weeks, Lisa said she thinks Bronwyn acts like she’s a producer. She said on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that her former BFF is “guilty” of thinking they’re directing the show.
She revealed, “I mean, a lot of people would say I think I’m a secret producer, I get taxed so much on stuff that people think that. It would probably be Bronwyn on our cast this year.”
However, it’s unaired drama that led to their on-screen conflict. As Bronwyn explained to Whitney Rose on the After Show, she tried to contact Lisa before the cast Palm Springs trip, and she ghosted her.
Lisa FaceTimed Heather in front of Bronwyn, which made her feel excluded from the trip. “She not only heard Heather’s side but continued to parrot it for everybody else to hear,” Bronwyn said.
