Ariana Grande won’t EVER return to The Voice as a coach for one reason
When Ariana Grande isn’t busy starring in Wicked or putting out new songs, she’s spending some of her career coaching aspiring artists in their careers. The Sweetener singer became a coach on The Voice three years ago. Now, she explains why she isn’t making any plans to go back.
For over 10 years, The Voice has been bringing incredibly talented stars center-stage for the show’s coaches to decide if they’re in with a shot of stardom. Sitting alongside Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend for series 21, Ariana Grande dabbled in being a mentor. But, she tells Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers of Las Culturistas podcast why that time of her life has been and gone.

This November, Ariana sat down with Bowen and Matt to dish on all kinds of things.
The trio get talking about her time on The Voice, to which Ariana tells them: “It’s really fun.”
The singer adds how talented her co-star Kelly Clarkson was, before explaining why she’s not going back to The Voice in future.
Ariana isn’t going back on The Voice
It’s clear to see Ariana’s a busy gal, with her role in Wicked spurring her into new realms of fame, and inevitably more music on the way in future.
But, when it comes to the Voice, she says the door is closed.
Speaking of whether she’d ever go back on the talent show again, Ariana replies: “No.”
The singer adds how the show’s trademark turning chair “was a good perk.”
But, she explains: “I got so emotionally attached to everyone, that’s my problem. I can’t really do that. I really get in… I really get in there with everyone. I love everyone so much. I felt so invested and I still do.”
Ariana continues: “I see them all on Instagram…” adding how she’s “in touch with some of them,” referring to Bella DeNapoli, David Vogel, and Raquel Trinidad.
To this day, she “sees what they’re up to” and says “I get very involved.”
