Kandy Muse is known for her polished make-up looks since Drag Race. Now starring on House of Villains among Tiffany ‘New York’ Pollard and Teresa Giudice, she’s “looking gorgeous,” say fans.
Having made her mark on RuPaul’s Drag Race, Kandy Muse is showing of her make-up skills with each look she werks on House of Villains. Fans are joking about her recent “subtle look with a hint of paint”.
Kandy Muse looks ‘god damn gorgeous’
Kandy is often praised for their makeup looks, with many noticing how much the queen’s face artwork talents have developed to this day, since starring on RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Now Kandy is on House of Villains, fans wonder if drag performer Raven Hunty has been doing her makeup. Muse started out in her bearded era in 2015 – her most popular makeup era.
One fan said, “She was 100% flawless. The makeup had me shook!” Another wrote, “Kandy’s mug has become so polished and refined over the years, she found a makeup style that enhances her beauty.”
Minimal makeup works on Kandy, too
Kandy Muse often starts her makeup videos with no product on her face. Many say that when she’s dressed in drag, she “looks like a literal filter” – and her House of Villains co-stars love her.
She “was very lucky to be in this cast where everyone was so accepting,” as told to People. “I don’t think anyone’s been around a drag queen the way they were in this house, and everyone was so intrigued.”
Making history as House of Villains first drag queen, she thought she’d feel “a bit uncomfortable” but added, “I think that although Drag Race is a huge show, this show has such a big platform.”
Viewers blame lighting for makeup
When House of Villains viewers first spotted Kandy’s latest makeup look, they blamed the house lighting. A fan who said her makeup had an “interesting approach” thought someone else done her face.
“I think the lighting is also really bad and particularly unflattering to a lot of the cast members with deeper skin tones. The overhead shadows are inexcusable. New York’s promo is also rough,” said a fan.
Another penned, “The makeup overall is really not thaaaat bad. The highlighting around the brow is a bit suspish, but the studio lighting is the biggest culprit here.”
