Soon to be released on Netflix, we meet the cast of this hit new show combining real-estate, fashion and drama: Making it in Marbella.
We’re less than a day away from the release of the latest in hot real-estate paired with hotter brokers: Making It In Marbella. These Swedish real estate brokers earn millions selling luxurious homes to the rich and famous in this opulent area of the Spanish coast. The Netflix series is set around Homerun Brokers and the firms cast of scorching agents. Of course, it’s not all real-estate as we get to see the dramas unfold of this young group navigating their personal and professional lives. Who are this band of brokers anyway? Reality Tidbit has scoured their Instagram and professional profiles to find out.
Eric Ebbing
Eric Ebbing, property mogul, Big Slap festival founder and Lebanese restaurant owner, is the founder of Homerun Brokers. On the company’s website he rates himself for: “knowing how to foster teamwork and get the best out of the people around him.” His entrepreneurial career started back in Malmo, Sweden, but he now resides in Marbella with his wifey and cute doggos.
“If you snooze you lose!” Eric told ELM magazine about his plans for 2022, he continued: “Therefore, there is still a lot of work to do, not only on maintaining our position but also in coming up with fresh and innovative ideas to stay ahead of the curve.”
Matias Concha
Concha is a Swedish former professional footballer who played right back for his team Malmö FF. After 20 years in the game, he joined the new, and equally, fast-paced game of Marbella real-estate. Fluent in four languages, Matias can win clients over with his “strong negotiation skills” and “winning mentality.”
Matias has now swapped out the studded boots for a padel racket, but one thing remains the same: “What makes me laugh: winning.”
Robert Bazo
Robert is Homerun’s Business Expansion Manager: “A highly motivated professional with an unwavering commitment to excellence.” Another multi-linguist, he likes to skydive and teach self-defense in his spare time.
His defense tactics play a role in the classroom and his professional life, as he is said to be “consistently prioritizing solutions over obstacles.”
This suave skydiver will surely land plenty of deals right on target during the show.
Sarah Sorrell
Property Broker Sarah Sorrell was born in London with Spanish roots. Boasting “unrivaled local knowledge” and an “energetic hands-on approach” means she has connections turned clients throughout Marbella town.
Sarah gets that early morning endorphin hit from CrossFit, not coffee, and is a cancer survivor.
She shares her luxurious life with her beautiful eleven-year-old daughter and sweet pup Benji.
Ermira Buja
This Swiss native relocated with her hubby to Marbella in 2021. Ermira is known for her “ability to forge strong relationships quickly” while providing an “unwavering commitment to securing the perfect solution.” She acquired her skills in empathy and respect through training as a Montessori teacher prior to pursuing a career in real-estate.
Her ‘Gram is full of glam: high fashion and luxe housing.
Roger Widen
Head of Sales, Roger is Stockholm born. This former yacht-steering captain laid anchor in Marbella in 2011, transferring his time from a life on the seas to fully grounded selling bricks and mortar.
Roger continues to “drive success” for Homerun since he joined the company in 2023. Widen shared: “I’m thrilled to join the great team at Homerun and the space rocket of a company they are, and together take it to new heights!”
On Insta, Roger boasts dapper suits and ‘sold’ signs a plenty for his luxury homes. Business is booming.
Miah van de Bilt
A Thai native raised in Sweden, Miah has had a diverse career and lived in multiple countries prior to settling in Spain. Her talents lie in “uncovering ‘hidden’ off-market treasures” as well as being a devoted and loving mother to four children. Her family values are transferred to her clients through her “commitment to building long-term relationships in the business.”
One of her prior careers was working as a Divemaster in the Red Sea: “Diving was one of my biggest passions.” She got to share her love of the underwater world with her oldest son in 2019 when she took him for his first dive.
Rahel Smiljanic
From the mountains to the Mediterranean, this Swiss native swapped snow boots for sandals in 2021. Rahel has a background in the wellness industry, with a degree in sports science, proving she is a good fit for this high-energy team. Rahel is “a true people person” who “listens and puts her clients at the center” of any of their dealings.
Rahel spends her time online sunning herself and flexing her muscles along with her darling dog.
Cristina Barroso
Cristina felt right at home in sunny Marbella after growing up in the equally sunny Valencia. A world traveler, she has dwelled in six countries and counting. Her diverse professional life has seen her selling luxury in fashion and beauty before property, while being a boss-babe and completing an MBA in business administration at the same time.
In her spare time, Cristina enjoys fine dining, going to concerts, and mooching in Dior.
Jessica Hammagren
Another Swedish native, Jessica spent a good chunk of her career working in the States. Jessica enjoys not only assisting her clients in the property market but introducing them to “the exquisite Marbella lifestyle.”
For Jessica that seems to include beach trips, Pomeranian pooches and showing off her tan in swish white two-pieces.
Bohdan Bilei
Bohdan is a determined and “versatile individual” with skills ranging from a black belt in Taekwondo to project management at various international companies. Bohdan sees his work as “not just a job” but “a passion, hobby and lifestyle.”
His social media shows-off a dapper-Bohdan in many a neutral suit, or sporting a cigar celebrating one of his many successes, we presume.
