Season two of House of Villains is out on October 1, so there’s no better time to share the six moments that prove Tiffany “New York” Pollard will dominate the competition.
House of Villains follows reality TV’s biggest antagonists as they compete for a cash prize of $200,000 and the title of America’s Ultimate Supervillain. As you might expect, rooming with fellow villains often sparks confrontation.
Tiffany Pollard, known arguably more through memes than actual credits, is joining season two of the cast alongside Wes Bergmann, Teresa Giudice, Jessie Godderz, Richard Hatch, Victoria Larson, Larissa Lima, Kandy Muse, Camilla Poindexter, and Safaree Samuels.
Tiffany Pollard versus Pumkin was a fight for the ages
A star was born in 2006 as audiences were introduced to Tiffany Pollard on Flavor of Love, a reality TV show where 20 women competed for the affection of rapper Flavor Flav.
Outspoken and not afraid to scream her head off, Tiffany made an instant impression on fans with her very viral antics.
Amongst the memes and hilarious moments, the reality TV show saw Tiffany come to physical blows with fellow contestant Pumkin. After the brawl, Pumkin did the unthinkable as she spat on Tiffany, which only served to infuriate the beauty more.
She chased Pumkin out of the house, with gifs of the moment still shared across the internet to this day.
David’s dead? Or he is
The UK’s Celebrity Big Brother season 17 saw countless iconic moments that made it one of the best installations of the franchise. Undoubtedly the most famous is the moment Tiffany screamed that fellow contestant David Gest had died from cancer. In reality, it was a simple miscommunication.
You see, Angie Bowie, the ex-wife of David Bowie, was informed of her former husband’s death during her time on the show. When she tearfully confessed the secret to Tiffany, admittedly with just “David’s dead”, Tiffany utterly lost it.
She told numerous other contestants that David Gest was dead until Christopher Maloney peeled back the covers to reveal him sound asleep. But the drama didn’t stop there.
From that moment, Tiffany believed that the grieving Angie Bowie had been playing a sick joke and she was obviously livid about it. Numerous housemates were forced to hold her back as she attempted to get to an upset Angie.
Tiffany’s time on Flavor of Love sparked countless memes
Not only did Flavor of Love launch Tiffany’s very successful TV career but it also birthed memes that most of us still use to this day.
Perhaps the most popular is the moment when a contestant called Hottie said that Tiffany was jealous of her because friends said she looked like Beyonce. Tiffany’s wide-eyed expression and exclamation of “Beyonce?” repeatedly became instantly iconic. If you type Tiffany’s name into a GIF site, we are betting it’s one of the first to come up.
Tiffany versus Gemma Collins
Tiffany Pollard made Celebrity Big Brother 17 a season to remember, and not just because she incorrectly pronounced another contestant dead. New York also developed a feud with The Only Way Is Essex star Gemma Collins.
Cutting remarks and shady stories eventually culminated in a Diary Room monologue where Tiffany called the plus-size star basically every name under the sun.
“Pretty much I would let Gemma know that she is a fat c***, and um, the shoes that she gave me were not something that I would particularly buy for myself,” she ranted. “They were old maiden type of shoes, as she said that those shoes were meant to be worn on a beautiful woman so if that’s the case, she should have put them back on the rack and she should have never even purchased them because she was UNQUALIFIED to own those shoes if that’s the case, and um, I think Gemma is just a disgrace.”
Tiffany continued: “She’s a disgrace to humanity and she’s a disgrace to women who are actually beautiful and classy, and um, she just doesn’t have the vernacular that she thinks she possesses.
“Somebody lied to her several times and told her that she was fly, hot and sexy and beautiful, and she’s nothing like that. She’s nothing of the sort.”
Tiffany’s speech during season one of House of Villains
Tiffany Pollard also competed on season one of House of Villains, though she was eliminated second after Jax Taylor.
Despite her time on the E! being relatively short-lived, Tiffany’s monologue illustrated perfectly why she was on the show in the first place.
In danger of being voted off, Tiffany said she didn’t want any pity votes, which seemingly triggered Apprentice winner Omarosa Newman.
