The pressure is on for 15 famous faces who think they’ve got what it takes to pass SAS selection this September. Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins returns for season 6 – and it’s safe to say the participants aren’t being eased into the process gently as things kick off with them being suspended 335ft in the air.
Rudy Reyes, Mark Billingham, Jason Fox, and Chris Oliver return as the Channel 4 show’s steely-eyed Directing Staff this year. Season 6 sees the celebrities put through their paces at a winter warfare training camp based on New Zealand’s South Island. For some of the recruits, their life turns into a “living hell,” according to Foxy. Let’s meet the stars who’ve traveled across the world to put themselves to the ultimate test.
Bianca Gascoigne

First up on the Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins cast list is Bianca Gascoigne.
She’s a model turned TV personality and DJ who won Dancing with the Stars Italy back in 2021.
Bianca is the daughter of famous footballer Paul Gascoigne. Appearing on Who Dares Wins, she says she thinks of herself as a “hard-nut.”
Per her IG page, Bianca’s “proudest moment yet” is “motherhood.” She tells her fans to “expect alot of tears” from her on the series as she left her daughter, “little Sunshine,” back at home “who was only 4 months old at the time.”
Chris Robshaw

English former rugby union player Chris Robshaw is ready to see if he’s got what it takes to complete SAS training this Autumn.
He had a career of battling it out on the field, but two years into retirement from rugby, he’s ready for a new challenge.
Pete Wicks

Pete Wicks is clearly booked and busy these days as he’s currently starring in both Strictly Come Dancing and SAS: Who Dares Wins.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star made a name for himself in the reality TV world, and now runs a podcast, Staying Relevant, with bestie Sam Thompson.
He jumped at the chance to get back on SAS: Who Dares wins after previously being medically discharged from the show.
Ovie Soko

Basketball pro Ovie shot to stardom appearing as a cast member on Love Island series 5.
Five years on and he’s back on our screens, but in a totally different environment.
There’s no sitting around the fire pit, cracking on, or getting texts going on here.
Speaking of whether the show lived up to his expectations, Ovie told Channel 4: “Oh it blew it away. You kind of see what to expect on TV, but you don’t really know until you get there. You don’t know how bad it is, the bad things that you have to do, you just don’t know the reality of it. But it was incredible. Absolutely incredible.”
Georgia Harrison

Georgia Harrison barely needs an introduction for reality TV fans.
She boasts and impressive 1.3 million Instagram followers and has appeared on numerous shows in her time.
Georgia rose to fame as a TOWIE star 10 years ago. She then went on to become a Love Island contestant in 2017. The 29-year-old then landed roles on The Challenge, which could come in handy for her SAS training.
Bobby Norris

Another TOWIE star among the ranks is Bobby Norris.
He’s determined to prove himself and complete the SAS training in series 6.
Bobby’s fans are likely used to seeing him living a luxury lifestyle in Essex or appearing on Celebs Go Dating.
Now, gossip and love lives are on the back burner as he takes on a whole new challenge.
Anthony Ogogo

Anthony Ogogo is a former boxer who turned his career into one of wrestling.
His sporting talents landed him a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympic Games.
Anthony’s reality TV stardom can be traced back to 2008 when he appeared on Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack. He also took part in Strictly Come Dancing and appeared on Bear Grylls’ The Island.
Speaking of his time on SAS: Who Dares Wins, it seems to have been positive for Anthony, as he explains: “I wanted to learn about myself and I got exactly what I wanted to get out of it. I honestly had an amazing experience.”
Shazia Mirza

Shazia Mirza is a stand-up comedian who fans may recognize from Celebrity MasterChef as well as TV shows What the Frick, and The Wright Stuff.
She worked as a science teacher before branching out into the world of comedy per The Guardian.
Shazia has challenged herself on TV before, appearing in Celebrity The Island with Bear Grylls and Celebs In Solitary: Meltdown.
Tez Illyas

Another comedian among the recruits is Tez Ilyas.
He’s also an actor, presenter and writer. Tez runs a podcast with his other half, Tez & Shy Ilyas: Making a Husband Pod.
Many Channel 4 fans may recognize Tez from The Tez O’Clock Show and Man Like Mobeen.
As a big Lord of the Rings fans Tez was pleased about being in New Zealand. But, he told Channel 4: “It was cold, obviously, sleeping in those bunks in what was possibly amongst the coldest I’ve ever been in my life. It was so cold I couldn’t sleep.”
Cherry Healey

Cherry Healey has been presenting TV shows for years.
Many SAS: Who Dares Wins fans will likely recognize her from shows such as 10 Years Younger, and Inside the Factory.
She competed in Celebrity MasterChef in 2016, and now it’s her time to be a participant once again as she takes on some gruelling SAS training.
Rachel Johnson

British journalist, TV show host, and sister of Boris Johnson, Rachel Johnson is trading up the news studio for the wondrous New Zealand.
The LBC news host and columnist is ready to tackle SAS: Who Dares wins this Autumn.
Speaking of her time on SAS: Who Dares Wins, Rachel says she “winged it,” and made great friends along the way.
“Oh, I just love Georgia, and I loved Bianca, too. And I’ve also become friends with Shazia. They are three of the greatest women. They really are. I know these people are good people, you know. They’re strong, kind, honest sisters.”
Marnie Simpson

Marnie Simpson is a Geordie Shore star who went on to star in Celebrity Big Brother and Ex on the Beach.
She has an Instagram following of 5.6 million and often shares her modeling snaps on the ‘gram.
Marnie admits to Channel 4 she’s “scared of heights” and didn’t prepare one bit for the show: “I think that’s where I went wrong a little bit!”
Ellie Downie

Ellie Downie MBE is a retired gymnast who represented Great Britain.
She retired from the sport at the age of 23 due to “mental health concerns” as well as concerns over the “way she was treated in the sport,” per BBC.
Ellie hails from Nottingham, but is now based in Manchester and runs a wellness studio.
She was ready to challenge herself on the Channel 4 show, telling the network: “I just wanted to see how much I could challenge myself because I had retired from gymnastics at the start of last year, so I hadn’t really put myself through anything that intense since then. I wanted to see how mentally tough I still was and how much I could handle.”
John Barrowman

He’s well known for his acting roles including Captain Jack Harkness in Doctor Who and Torchwood, and Malcolm Merlyn in the Arrowverse.
Lani Daniels

World heavyweight boxer Lani Daniels is a trailblazer in her sport. She’s a two-time IBF World Champion.
She hails from New Zealand and decided to break into the world of boxing in 2017.
Lani was the first New Zealand-born boxer of Māori descent to become a two-division world boxing champion.
