While Jason Oppenheim is giving main character energy, his brother is equally as successful as him. It’s no wonder they went into business together, because the Selling Sunset pair have been suited since young.
Jason and Brett Oppenheim – In suits
Jason and Brett Oppenheim often wore suits as young boys. They had a full head of thick hair until they decided to grow up and shave it all off, but it was their father who first had them cut their barnets.
“He made me work out daily in the garage at 5am, cut my long hair, made me quit cigarettes, took my earrings out, took away my baggy clothes, and picked me up from school,” Jason told Daily Mail.
When Jason quizzed his followers on who is who in a snap of them as kids, one wrote, “Jason on the left Brett on the right. I can tell because you guys smile differently,” and many others agreed.
Jason is ‘more jacked’ than Brett
Jason is always sharing throwbacks of his childhood with Brett. In one snap, they both hold dumbbells up, with Jason jokily claiming he’s “definitely more jacked” than his identical brother.
He also uploaded a snap of their cake fight, which he’s convinced he’s winning. Nowadays, they look more like their Pops, who fans have called “handsome” in a throwback picture.
Fans will notice Brett’s had a slight absence since Selling Sunset season 6, which is due to his focus on opening new Oppenheim Group offices and working on his own listings.
The Oppenheim bros ‘smile differently’
Although they are identical twins, there is something that fans and loved ones use to tell Brett and Jason apart: it’s their smile. Many have picked up on how they smile completely differently.
Although they usually dress in suits, Brett usually appears to have darker facial hair than Jason. He also tends to sit back and let his brother run the show, as he has more quiet tendencies.
While Jason tends to smile with his teeth on top of each other, Brett has a slight overbite and tends to have more creases around his eyes when he smiles for photos.
