Swamp People is all about hunting alligators, but one cast member appears to be turning heads on the show’s new season as she sports a new look. Ashley ‘Deadeye’ Jones first appeared on the series alongside Ronnie Adams in season 10. Now, she’s making an unlikely duo with Heather Smith outside of the show.
Swamp People‘s Ashley poses alongside Heather Smith on Instagram this January. Heather is known to some fans as a more divisive Naked and Afraid star. And many are saying the twosome is one fans “never saw together.” Whatever the case, more people can’t stop commenting on how “great” Ashley looks, and her “beauty.”
Ashley Jones and Heather Smith friendship
After rising to fame on hit History Channel show Swamp People, Ashley has gained a lot of reality TV fans.
It looks like she’s also made some friends in the showbiz world, too, as she smiles alongside Naked and Afraid’s Heather this January.
The ladies are seen wearing matching outfits as they head out for a walking tour of New Orleans together. Ashley captioned her post: “I’ve never done a private tour down here and I love to hear about the history!”
Some fans took to the Instagram post comments to share how they “Never thought I would see these two together,” but they both do have a love of the outdoors in common.
Swamp People star rakes in compliments
During Swamp People season 15, Ashley’s fans can’t help but comment on what they think is a “transformation” as many suggest the History Channel star is showing off “weight loss” results.
Many have taken to social media to share they’re “blown away” by Ashley’s looks as she hunts reptiles in Louisiana.
More Swamp People lovers expressed concerns over another star, Joey Edgar, as he also returned to season 15 with a “slimmed down” appearance. However, neither reality stars have commented on having lost any weight.
Fans dub the duo ‘beautiful’
Ashley showed her fans she’s a woman who can do it all this year as she swapped her gator hunting gear for a glam gown.
The alligator hunter showed her more glamorous side once again this January as she donned matching hats with friend Heather.
One fan commented on the post: “Y’all both look so beautiful and having the best time together!”
Another said: “Ashley you look Just beautiful and your friend you both look so beautiful,” and “Wow ya’ll look great.”
Heather also took to Instagram in her New Orleans tour outfit writing: “Confidence is not walking into a room thinking you are better than anyone else. It’s walking in not having to compare yourself to anyone.”
Ashley’s friend was a contestant on Naked and Afraid: Castaways last year. She had fans divided after her time on the show and lasted three weeks in the wilderness. Heather is a fishing guide which makes she and Ashley’s friendship even more understandable.
