Still, rumors say, there was a time when they felt the strain of the relationship. While Taylor has never talked about her private struggle openly, fans found tell-tale songs hinting at her mental status while going through the tumultuous time.
Taylor Swift’s parents wanted to pause their divorce for her career

The music star’s parents, who tied the knot on February 20, 1989, reportedly started having marital strains twenty years later. The couple finally got divorced in 2011.
After the You Belong With Me crooner’s official debut in 2006, an insider claimed the duo wanted to keep it all under wraps to focus on Tay’s career instead.
“The Swifts stopped wearing their wedding rings,” an insider said at the time. “They haven’t filed for divorce because they don’t want it to damage Taylor’s career.”
