Dubai Bling is back bigger and blingier than ever this December. Season 2 welcomes some newbies to the group including Huda Beauty co-founder Mona Kattan and her husband. Mona’s mentor and good friend, Sima Ved, also appears on the show and shows off her extensive net worth as she hosts a pitch party at her lavish mansion.
The Netflix show follows a group of super-wealthy friends who reside in Dubai. Season 2 episode 8 sees Sima Ganwani Ved open her jaw-dropping home to some of the Dubai Bling ladies including Safa Siddiqui, Zeina Khoury, and Danya Mohammed AKA Diva Dee.
Sima Ved’s net worth

Sima is the founder and chairwoman of Apparel Group, one of the largest companies in the Middle East and Asia.
Apparel Group’s net worth sits at an estimated $2Bn.
The company was founded in 1996, employs a workforce of 20,000 empoyees, and has an impressive portfolio of over 85 prestigious brands across more than 2,100 stores in 14 countries.
Sima married before building fortune
Speaking on Dubai Bling, Sima explains she is an “Indian girl” who was raised in Dubai.
The Netflix star was born in Africa and relocated to Dubai in the 1970s. She later moved to the UK to study at King’s College London and went on to earn an MBA in Business Management.
She got married before starting her own business. Explaining how she got started, the Netflix newbie said she sold the gold she received on her wedding day: “That was my capital.”
Sima adds the brand “built, and built and built and built,” and today they’re a “multi-billion dollar operation.”
As well as running a hugely successful conglomerate, Sima is still married and has three kids.
Dubai Bling star wants to be known for ‘helping women’
Last year, Sima made it onto Forbes’ list of the Five Most Influential Women in Retail.
This year, she made another Forbes List – the 100 Most Powerful Businesswomen 2023.
Speaking to Gulf News this year, she said she wouldn’t have gotten to where she is today without her husband and her father.
She adds her husband is “secure enough” to let her “shine.”
However, she says on Dubai Bling she and Mona have “absolute clarity” they “want to be known in this world for having helped women.”
Beyond her business achievements, Sima is also an active member of various global organizations such as YPO and CEO.
Sima has gone on to mentor her daughter, Sarisha Ved, to launch athleisure brand, F5 Global, which puts all of its profits from its ‘Tees For Fees’ collaboration towards children’s education. The Dubai Bling star also mentored her eldest daughter, Selina Ved, to create a social e-commerce beauty platform called Nessa.
