Where is Anna Vakili from?
The 28-year-old pharmacist is currently living and working in London.
From her Insta bio, we can see that she is originally from Iran, although she has not yet divulged more about where she grew up or when she moved to London.
But it’s clear that Anna loves to travel the world and has a particular soft spot for travelling around the Middle East. From her Instagram posts it would seem that Dubai is her – and her sister and BFF Mandi’s – favourite place to go to!

Anna’s famous in Iran!
After she appeared in the Iranian news earlier this year, Anna and her sister Mandi found themselves quickly skyrocketed to fame.
She said it happened after they “were away in Qatar with two Iranian footballers” and papped on a night out.
Anna described how overnight her Instagram following went up by 20,000 and how she “started being tagged in fan pages!”
And we’re sure her fame is only going to grow after her stint on Love Island…
Online criticism
But despite having only just started out on the show, Anna has already faced a huge backlash from people on the internet critiquing her!
First, her looks were the focus of the criticism, but it has since moved on to general criticism of her appearing on the show, particularly after speaking about her heritage.
After she touched on her Middle Eastern heritage in her Love Island promotional video, viewers quickly jumped on the opportunity to criticise her appearance on the show.
Anna said in the video:
Having Middle Eastern parents, I’m at that age now where they are on my case. Like “you’re 28-years-old Anna, you need to find someone, you need to get married, you need to have kids”.
