  • Legally known as Yau Yung Kelly Yip, using preferred name Kari Yip in all professional communications.
  • Kari attained the LTCL qualification in Piano Performance (2020) and ATCL in Organ Performance (2025). At Maryknoll Convent School, Kari was the choir pianist from 2018 to 2020, and a violinist in String Orchestra in 2018/19. Kari performed in Carnegie Hall in 2018 and Royal Albert Hall in 2024.
  • Kari is a polyglot who is particularly strong at grammar and pronunciation, which help with good language use. Kari is a Speaking Practice Buddy in the Language Resources Centre at King's College London.

Experience

Kari contributed in the MPS Post Team in the 2017/18 academic year at Maryknoll Convent School. In 2018, Kari interviewed a primary school teacher with a classmate, and typed out the teacher's responses to be published on an issue at school. Kari joined The King's Tab in March 2026.

Education

Kari is pursuing Bachelor of Music at King's College London, after having done A-level Music, German and French at Xaverian College, Manchester, along with Junior Royal Northern College of Music.
