There are co-star dating rumours about A Different World’s fittest star, Cornell Young IV

Even if you haven’t watched A Different World, you’ve no doubt scrolled past a few TikTok edits of one of its breakout stars, Cornell Young IV. Are the other three just as hot? 

A Different World is currently on the Netflix chart for TV shows, and it’s a revival of the 1987 to 1993 NBC sitcom of the same name. It’s got a new cast as well, made up mostly of up-and-coming Black talent. 

“When Dwayne Wayne and Whitley Gilbert’s free-spirited and kindhearted, yet rebellious youngest child Deborah enters her freshman year at Hillman College, she finds her parents’ shadow difficult to escape as she aims to build her own legacy. She does that while also having the time of her life with the new generation of Hillman’s finest and brightest,” the premise reads.

Who is Cornell Young IV? 

Born in Kirkwood, Missouri, in 2000, Cornell Young IV is an American actor with a few projects under his belt. 

He only really started working in the TV and film industry last year, booking two episodes of D.O.P.E. Unit, Dream House, Mind Your Business, and Forever. He also did photography on the set of Beyond the Gates. 

He’s got half a million followers on Instagram, which is filled with vibey selfies, travel pics, and behind-the-scenes action.

Cornell Young IV has gone viral for one very simple reason: He’s beautiful. Not hot, not a “stud”, as one publication called it, but beautiful. TikTok is filled to the brim with edits of him, and everyone’s eyes are saying “thank you very much.” Naturally, everybody wants to date him. 

Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean he’s straight, but there’s nothing online to suggest that Cornell Young IV is queer. Again, that doesn’t prove anything, just that he’s fairly new in the industry and that not much is known about him.

Though there’s no confirmation about his dating life, the internet is fully convinced that he’s struck up a romance with his co-star, Maleah Joi Moon. Their chemistry on screen has transferred to real life, they claim.

Only recently, he surprised Maleah for her birthday, getting down on one knee with a cake as she smiled and shed a few tears. They also hosted a watch party together and were pictured very cosy on the red carpet.
