Love Island girl reveals she and her partner split just two days after they left the villa together

A Love Island girlie has said she and the boy she left the villa with ended things just two days after they left the villa together. Surely that’s a record.

Helena Ford left Love Island All Stars earlier this year with US bombshell Carrington Rodriguez, but clearly, they weren’t meant to be. After their time on the show, rumours began circulating that he had been dating a “string of girls” at the same time as her, but, he claimed in a Snapchat video that he was innocent.

However, Helena then confirmed they were no longer an item. While at the time it looked as though they might have been giving things a go for a few weeks, Helena has said in a new interview that their timeline was much shorter than that.

Speaking on The Private Parts podcast, she dished to host Olivia Bentley about what really happened, and how long they lasted. “Uh probably about two days,” Helena said. She backtracked and said they were actually talking for about “a month” but clearly from day dot it wasn’t looking good.

From her perspective, the story of Carrington dating other girls did ring true. And while they weren’t officially boyfriend and girlfriend so it wasn’t exactly cheating, Helena didn’t take to it too well. When asked from her side why it ended, Helena explained: “Me, because he was like dating other girls or something.”

She added: “Carrington in particular I think he likes his girl to go out drinking and just sit there and not speak like very much like be prim and proper.” She then brutally said that would never be her, and the idea of dating someone like Carrington was “boring”.

At the time their split was announced, a source told The Sun: “Carrington and Helena have never said they’re locked off or closed off, but him seeing other women like this will raise eyebrows. Rumours have been rife that the pair have split after crucial clues in the content from [a trip after the show to] Paris.”

So, they gave things a go for two whole days, huh? Impressive!
