Jasmine responds after only just finding out Julia called her a b*tch on Love Island

Here’s what she really thinks about it

Jasmine has only just found out that Julia called her a b*tch on Love Island, and her response is kind of surprising.

The now-famous moment came right after the Casa Amor recoupling, when Jasmine kicked off over Kavan bringing Charleen back. As  Julia, Martha and Charleen walked away from the fire pit, they comforted Charleen who was crying, and Julia said: “It was awful, she was a b*tch.”

Everyone thought the comment was a bit uncalled for, because Jasmine wasn’t being a bi*ch at all. She was just upset that Kavan brought back another girl from Casa Amor. Rightly so!

During a new interview with Dazed, Jasmine was asked if she knew that Julia called her a b*tch, and she shockingly replied: “No, I had no idea. I had no idea.” So, she only just found out that the comment was made, but Jasmine is surprisingly chill about it and isn’t annoyed at Julia at all.

“Honestly, I feel fine. Being in the villa is so intense and sometimes things feel a lot deeper than they are,” she said. “A lot of it coming out now just feels quite small and quite minor.”

In another interview on the NewlyParents podcast with Jasmie Laing and Sophie Habboo, Jasmine elaborated on the beef with Julia even more.

“I think where we started to struggle, maybe, as a girl group, was… what we were quite good at doing, is, I think, the emotional reading – the intelligence part of it. Like, if someone was feeling something, you just stop. You take a breather. And we’d be like, ‘Okay, we’ll talk about this later. It’s not that big of a deal. This is minor. I love you,” she said.

“Whereas, sometimes with Julia, I think the hard part was that she maybe didn’t necessarily clock, like, ‘You’re hurting someone now. This is maybe not the time.’ So that’s where it started to go sour.” But Jasmine confirmed that now they’re out of the villa, there’s no beef and all that petty drama seems “so minor”.
