The exact moment Leah wanted to quit MAFS UK 2025, as she admitted to feeling ‘chipped away’

Leah has opened up about a raw and emotional moment during MAFS UK 2025, revealing she seriously wanted to quit the experiment as tensions in her marriage to Leigh escalated.

After last night’s commitment ceremony, Leah and Leigh appeared to be in a better place. But the pair have had major issues in their marriage since the start. They have only recently started to resolve them.

From the early honeymoon to the first dinner parties, their relationship has been on shaky ground. Arguments, misunderstandings, and clashing personalities meant the pair were often at odds. Leah has now shared just how much the experience took out of her.

Speaking in an interview with podcaster Scott McGlynn on his Celebrity Skin Talk series, Leah explained, “I got into week three and I really lost myself, I got chipped away at and it was ‘chip, chip, chip’. It got to the point where I was like, I don’t think I can do anymore.”

The stress of filming while navigating a marriage under the intense scrutiny of the experiment pushed her to seek professional support. “I saw the psych and I said, ‘I can’t do it,’” Leah admitted. She hinted at how close she was to walking away entirely.

Leah also reflected on the personal impact of the experience. “You get so involved in that person and you forget who you are. Watching it back now, there’s some PTSD. It was hard seeing how much I let myself get chipped away at.”

She described moments where she wished she had spoken up more during arguments with Leigh. “Why did I not say something? I am not the type of person to let someone talk to me like sh*t. Watching it, I wish I’d have stuck up for myself a bit more.”

The couple’s struggles were further complicated by Leah’s flirty interactions with other brides, including Rebecca and Leisha. Leigh had called this behaviour “disrespectful.” Leah clarified in a previous Instagram Q&A that some of her behaviour was playful, a way of winding people up. She added that Leigh was aware at the time.
