The best Halloween costumes for Bristol blondes on a budget 2025

No wigs or wings required

With Halloween fast approaching and multiple night-outs planned, you’re probably going to need a few different costumes for each night. If, like me, you’re struggling to find four or five different ideas (and don’t want to have to dig out the cat ears), this guide is for you. Luckily for us blondes, we’re already halfway there, and, likely, you’ll already have everything you need for these easy ideas.

1. Pamela Anderson

The Pamela Anderson costume is pretty much a rite of passage for any blonde (and a great excuse for a bouncy blowout). To recreate her iconic 90s leather-clad outfit, just grab a pair of Black Leggings or tights, black knee-high boots, a black sleeveless top or bodysuit, some long black gloves, and you’re there. To go the extra mile, you could also add a pair of black shades like Pamela’s. This costume comes together super fast and is the perfect excuse to get some super sexy Halloween pics for your hinge.

2. Hipster Taylor Swift

It seems Taylor Swift is everywhere right now due to her newly released (and somewhat controversial) album. So what better way to pay tribute to fonder times and Taylor eras than with this Hipster Taylor costume. You can recreate her “Not a lot going on at the moment” tee with any white t-shirt you have lying around (or grab one last minute for a few pounds at Primark). Taylor wears red heart-shaped sunglasses (if you have a Lana Del Rey tour attendee in your house, fingers crossed they will have some), but any sunglasses will do. Next is the Black fedora, which is easy to find online (if, for some reason, you don’t already have one, and to that, I ask why?) Bedazzle yourself with some 2014 style chunky jewellery and draw a moustache on your index finger, and you’re set.

3. Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate – Once upon a time in Hollywood

Margot Robbie has given us an endless list of iconic characters perfect for Halloween costumes. If you don’t have a pink cowboy outfit lying around to live out your Barbie fantasy, this costume is an easy (and far less overdone) alternative. You likely already own a black high-neck top, and fingers crossed, some white cowboy boots (courtesy of the cowboy boot epidemic of 2023). Someone in your flat/house is sure to have a white mini skirt, and if not, they are super easy to find. Just curl up the ends of your hair like Sharon and you’re there.

4. Sabrina Carpenter

If you’re anything like me, you’ve been worryingly addicted to Sabrina’s new album. Personally, I am completely obsessed with her hair, and Halloween is the perfect excuse to recreate it. Again, this is also the perfect excuse to get a bouncy blowout (I promise I don’t have a Bristol salon sponsoring this article). There is a range of iconic Sabrina tour outfits to recreate. Starting with a pair of white, or really any chunky, knee-high boots (you can double up the white cowboy boots for this one, too). Pretty much any mini dress will work; if it’s sequined or pastel, that’s a plus. Just style yourself some Sabrina bangs and you’re there.

5. Bridget Bardot in Contempt

Maybe it’s just because I’m a film student, but I think this is one of the coolest costumes you can do. If you love French cinema like me, then there’s a strong chance you’ve seen Bridget Bardot’s iconic performance as Camille Javal in Contempt (and also seen a million TikTok edits of her). This costume is perfect again because if there’s any chance you’ve been following the social media microtrends like I have, you will already have the components to this costume. Grab a thick black headband and a stripy top (big plus if you own a navy cardigan), add a thick cat-eye, and suddenly you’re a French femme fatale in a 1960s New Wave film. Hot!

6. Cassie from Skins

This outfit is an essential for any Bristol Blonde. Like Effy for the brunettes, Cassie is our 2000s party girl icon. She has a number of iconic outfits to choose from, which really can be recreated just by finding your most maximalist, clashing, colourful pieces and adding some white-rimmed sunglasses. Here’s an example of how you can create one of her most iconic outfits (the Brandon Hill number).
