Madison and Joe secretly met up after their Love Is Blind split, here’s what happened

I think we could all foresee that Madison and Joe weren’t destined to stay together on Love Is Blind, but their breakup truly was one for the history books. 

Madison had barely uttered the words that perhaps they shouldn’t continue on together in the experiment before Joe had his suitcase out and was quickly getting to work packing every item he’s ever owned.

However, as much as it seemed like their pair would probably never see each other again after Love Is Blind, it turns out that Madison and Joe secretly met up again a few weeks after leaving the experiment. 

In an interview with Swooon, Madison revealed that he called her about a week after they left the show, and they ended up agreeing to meet for dinner. 

She explained what happened when they met for dinner, admitting that it “was not normal” and she left without any further “answers or clarity.”

Madison was left even more confused when she and Joe ended up sharing a kiss after dinner, before her former Love Is Blind fiancee ghosted her. 

She recalled: “And then he walks me to my car, and we’re saying goodbye, and we hug, and then we share a kiss, and then he starts tearing up. 

“And it was a very confusing time. I didn’t understand the tears. 

“I’m like, ‘You ended things with me, like, I don’t… What are you feeling?’ And so I texted him and was like, ‘Let’s play a game: Name that emotion.’ And he never responded.”

Madison was asked whether the kiss was more of a spur of the moment decision or if they thought they could give their relationship another try.

She revealed: “I think that it was just kind of like a goodbye kiss.

“I mean, it turned into a little bit of a make-out session, which, you know, is just a mindf**k and confusing in and of itself. But, yeah, I don’t think I thought anything was going anywhere with it.”

Still, it seems that the two won’t be in such a good place during the Love Is Blind reunion, as Madison teased that she’ll finally confront Joe about his behaviour and that she “definitely got the closure” she needed.
