MAFS groom Dean shares eight interesting facts about himself after Sarah went awkwardly blank

Before they ultimately decided to leave the season 10 experiment and their doomed marriage behind, you might remember the cringe-inducing moment MAFS UK’s Sarah was stumped on interesting facts about Dean.

The awkward moment came during the in-laws portion of the show when Dean and Sarah’s friends joined them for what looked like a yummy lunch. Dean’s friend asked Sarah for an interesting fact she’d learned about her husband, but her only response after what seemed like HOURS was her now-iconic facial expressions. Her lack of answers, partnered with the producers’ shady choice in editing and music, made the moment difficult to watch, although she did eventually produce “card tricks” as the answer.

Following the episode, Dean posted a TikTok that illustrated just how interesting he really is.

In an admittedly hilarious video, Dean stitched together footage of the awkward MAFS UK moment with proof of various interesting facts. The first was seemingly juggling (very on brand), with Dean juggling three balls of socks with an exasperated “Sarah” thrown in for good measure.

The second fact was Dean’s well-documented history of pantomimes. A regular Curtis Pritchard, Dean played an animal in one show and then a human in a 2019 production of Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

The third fact was a visit to Jordan’s iconic Petra, an archaeological site where tombs and temples were literally built into the landscape. You often see influencers taking pics there, and it turns out Dean was one of them! After that was a trip to Mumbai in 2020, but Dean has also been to Kuala Lumpur, Puerto Rico, Montenegro, and Penang. Our Dean is hilarious AND well-travelled.

The next fact had me a little stumped, but it seemed to be a love for a US sports team of some kind. After that was his past as a Butlins red coat, which again is very on brand. He worked at the Skegness location, but has done similar jobs for Haven resorts and cruise ships.

It’s a shame MAFS UK season 10 wasn’t filmed over Christmas, because maybe Sarah would have loved Dean’s former job as a Santa Claus.

“Had a great Christmas and New Year onboard. Hope everyone I know did as well, can’t wait to see you all again this year,” Dean wrote on Instagram in 2020.

The final interesting fact was the one that Sarah ultimately landed on: Card tricks. To prove he’s got the goods to rival Derren Brown, Dean showed off such card trick for his TikTok followers.

MAFS UK’s Sarah will be glad to know that her season 10 husband did not rank his singing or rapping in his list of interesting facts. Phew.
